Hi Team Callaghan! 

This update comes to you from a very very hot Florida (my British genes are just not used to these crazy temperatures above 75F!) 

I’m currently about half way through my US Spring tour and am playing some shows in Florida then heading to Maine, Nashville and Chicago before finishing up in Atlanta on June 1st. 

I'm so thrilled that the campaign has now reached a whopping 72% of my goal! Woo hoo! There are still 19 days to go, so hopefully we'll get to that magic 100% which would be amazing and will enable me to complete the record and get it out to all of you. 

I’m very excited to announce that I've started recording some of the songs for the album.  

As you know, I already recorded a special duet with Shawn Mullins a few weeks back, and I’m excited to announce there’ll be another duet on the record with my good friend and fellow singer-songwriter, Erick Baker. 

Erick and I have known each other for several years and toured many times together across the US. We wrote a song called “Unspoken Words” back in 2014 which we never recorded but remained a favorite of mine. It’s the first song I’ve ever written specifically as a duet and I was thrilled to be able to record it with the person I wrote it with. 

The song talks about loving someone so much that you feel there are no words that could ever express your feelings properly, and the unspoken connection that can go much deeper than words. 

Below is a little preview clip of me and Erick rehearsing the song in the studio. In my next update I'll have more news about the tracks you'll be hearing on the finished album.
